Ateljé Catellani was established in 1989 and has worked since then with the conservation and restoration of paintings on canvas and wood panel, particularly works of art dating from the fifteenth to the nineteenth century. The studio has also undertaken rescue and restoration work with art works and sculptures suffering from smoke and water damage in private houses, churches, castles, museums and manor houses.
The activities of the ateljé regarding the conservation and restoration of art works are directed both towards the private market and to institutions in Sweden and abroad.
Knowledge, professionalism and the quality of the work carried out are the hallmarks of the ateljé, and, together with the guaranteed confidentiality of meetings with clients, these are aspects to which Ateljé Catellani gives the highest priority.

Conservator Anna Bronzoni Catellani was educated at the Palazzo Spinelli Nicolini, the Institute for the Conservation and Restoration of Art in Florence. She has also studied at the art academy in Modena, Italy, and has received a Swedish Master of Arts’s degree in art history from the University of Uppsala.

Anna Bronzoni Catellani has received a number of awards over the years. She has been recognized by the Italian government for her major contribution in the conservation and restoration of artwork and accordingly was awarded the title of Knight of the Order of the Star of Italian Solidarity (Cavaliere dell’Ordine della Stella della solidarietà Italianna) by the Italian President, Carlo Azeglio Ciampi in 2005.
